Tufted Ttimouse (Baeolophus bicolor)

The Tufted Titmouse is closely related to the Carolina Chickadee and is common throughout the state and are found throughout the eastern half of the United States south of Maine. They are year round residents, and in the fall and winter they will hoard food from feeders, stashing it in locations in close proximity to the feeder after cracking early shells of the nuts.
