Panagia Chrysopolitis Church, Kyrenia - 2012   The ruins of Panagia Chrysopolitissa. Built probably during the French rule of Cyprus(14th and 15th Centuries) with an addition possibly in the 16th Century, This is considered by some the oldest church in Kyrenia It is presently in ruins - the roof has fallen in, icons and her adornments are missing, etc. It has been "under renovation" for several years. There has been some improvement in the condition of the church's remnants since 2012, but there is still no roof and only a bare interior.
