The Ponds
The several ponds within the main detention basin have, over the years, come a relatively diverse habitat with lots of different flora and fauna. Here in April, a number of semi-aquatic plants are taking over. The Yellow Flag (Water) Irises are beginning to bloom, and the Pickerel Weed is coming in.
